About

Growing companies reach a point where IT needs someone accountable for the whole environment.

Founded in 2018, Zen IT Technologies takes ownership across identity, endpoints, infrastructure, security, and the SaaS estate. That includes the tools, vendors, and undocumented knowledge that accumulated on the way.

We are not a traditional MSP. We work as an embedded extension of your team: we learn your environment, take ownership of it, and manage it with a bias toward security and business continuity. In practice, that means a named engineer who knows your stack, not a ticket queue.

We also use IT to remove friction and improve how the company works, not simply keep systems running.

Jonny Flaks, Founder & Principal Architect Three decades designing, securing, migrating, and operating IT environments across infrastructure, identity, endpoints, cloud, and security.

Selected outcomes

Complex environments simplified, secured, and left easier to operate.

  • Three identity environments brought under one control plane.

    Cybersecurity company

Authentication across cloud productivity, business applications, and endpoint identity consolidated around a central identity architecture, with automated provisioning and lifecycle management introduced progressively rather than through a disruptive cutover.

  • A cross-platform endpoint estate moved to zero-touch deployment.

    Technology company

Device provisioning redesigned across macOS, Windows, and Linux around automated enrollment, encryption, security controls, and identity. A new device now reaches a managed and secured state from first login with almost no IT involvement.

  • A complex sending estate redesigned for isolation and resilience.

    B2B SaaS platform

Transactional, marketing, and outreach traffic separated by purpose and risk. Authentication rebuilt, reputation boundaries established, and monitoring introduced, giving the internal team a platform it could operate independently.

  • An office Wi-Fi deployment that stopped generating tickets.

    AI infrastructure company

Predictive RF survey, channel and transmit-power planning, followed by a controller rebuild. The Wi-Fi support queue emptied and stayed empty.

  • An application without enterprise identity support brought under central authentication.

    Technology company

A platform that could not meet the required identity model was integrated through an alternative architecture, bringing authentication and user lifecycle control back under the organization's central identity environment.

  • Company data separated by audience without blocking collaboration.

    Technology company

Company data was reorganized around a clear internal and external boundary, allowing stronger controls without disrupting collaboration with customers and partners. Existing content was moved into defined locations for each audience, making the secure path the convenient one without changing how people work.

Who we work with

Built for companies that cannot afford friction in IT.

Zen IT Technologies works with growing technology companies that need enterprise-grade IT and security without having to build every capability internally. We work alongside leadership, operations, HR, security, and R&D to keep the environment secure, managed, and ready to scale.

  • Growing companies

Organizations where the IT environment is getting complex faster than the team is growing.

  • Global teams

People, offices, devices, and SaaS spread across countries and regions.

  • Security and compliance obligations

Companies facing SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27001, HIPAA, PCI, or security requirements from customers and partners.

Services

The IT environment, end to end.

Six areas we can own, improve, or strengthen alongside your team.

  • Network, cloud, and office infrastructure

Firewalls, VPNs, and wireless, on site and in the cloud, plus server rooms and whole-office buildouts designed to scale.

More on network and infrastructure →

  • Identity, access, and platforms

One source of truth for who can reach what: single sign-on, provisioning, and access review across your entire SaaS estate.

More on identity and access →

  • Endpoint management & security

Every laptop hardened, tracked, and accounted for, from the day someone joins to the day their device is wiped and retired.

    More on endpoint management →

  • Security readiness & response

Security capability built into the environment: logging and retention, endpoint visibility, audit trails, detection, recovery procedures, and the ability to query and act across the estate when something needs investigating.

    More on response readiness →

  • Email deliverability and domain reputation

Getting your mail into inboxes and keeping it there: authentication, sending architecture, and reputation repair.

    More on email deliverability →

  • AI platform governance

We put AI platforms under the same discipline as everything else we run: identity and provisioning, usage policy, spend that matches observed usage, and documented boundaries around what the tools can reach.

Engagement models

How we work

Three ways we work.

  • Fully managed.

We take ownership of the IT function, from infrastructure and user support to security, lifecycle and the processes that connect IT with the rest of the company. As the business grows, we improve the environment with it, automate what should not remain manual, and take IT work off the people who have been carrying it alongside their actual jobs.

  • Alongside your team.

Fractional IT architecture. Your team keeps ownership. We add senior architecture and technical depth where it is needed, without requiring another full-time senior hire: difficult integrations, architecture, migrations, security, automation, and problems that sit between systems or departments. The goal is not to replace your team, but to give it the experience and capacity to deliver work it could not reasonably take on alone.

  • Projects and on-demand consulting.

We come in for a defined problem: a migration, deployment, office build, security program, or technical challenge. We design it, implement it, document it, and train your team to run it. The engagement has a clear end, and we stay reachable afterwards if questions come up.

How an engagement runs

We don't send tickets back and forth. We join the team.

Three phases, run in order. Each one gives you more visibility, control and resilience than the last.

  1. Phase one

    Discovery

A documented review of the existing environment: identity and endpoint estate, network and security posture, and platform inventory.

  2. Phase two

    Stabilize and secure

Close the urgent risks first, then rebuild the foundations: access, endpoints, backup, monitoring.

  3. Phase three

    Run it with you

Ongoing operations, seven-day support, and a roadmap that moves with your headcount and your audits.

Compliance

Audit-ready from the infrastructure up.

  • ISO/IEC 27001
  • ISO/IEC 42001
  • SOC 2
  • PCI DSS
  • HIPAA
  • and other frameworks

Frequently asked questions

  • We already have an IT team. Is there still a fit?

Yes. Fractional IT architecture from Zen IT Technologies can work alongside an existing IT team. It brings senior depth to the work that is expensive to hire for and rarely needed full time: complex migrations, identity architecture, security engineering, and the problems that have stayed open too long. Your team keeps ownership of the environment.

  • Do you replace our IT provider, or work alongside one?

Either. Where a help desk already works well, Zen IT Technologies takes the architecture and security layer and leaves desk-side support in place. Where there is no provider, we cover the whole function. What we do not do is duplicate a working help desk.

  • What happens to our environment if we stop working with you?

There is a defined handover rather than a scramble. Zen IT Technologies transfers administrative access to named owners on your side, licenses and vendor relationships are reassigned rather than canceled, documentation and runbooks are walked through with whoever is taking over rather than emailed, and we stay reachable afterwards for the questions that only surface once someone is actually running it. Nothing is held back if you decide to move on.
